About the Role

Manpower UK is seeking a Production Operative to join a manufacturing facility in Heanor. This role involves the manufacture, packing, and handling of animal health and nutrition products. Duties include operating production machinery, weighing and mixing ingredients, packing finished goods, and performing quality checks. Applicants must be capable of heavy lifting and comfortable in a physically demanding environment. The position pays up to £13.00 per hour with weekly pay. Shift patterns are available on days (05:00-14:00, Monday to Friday) or afternoons (13:00-23:00 Monday to Thursday, 13:00-18:00 Friday). This is a temporary contract requiring adherence to health and safety procedures.

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Heanor.
This is a hands-on role within a production environment, where you will be involved in the manufacturing, packing, and handling of animal health and nutrition products.
Shift Patterns:

Days: Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 14:00
Afternoons: Monday to Thursday, 13:00 - 23:00 andamp; Friday, 13:00 - 18:00

Pay Rate:

£13.00 per hour
Weekly pay

Duties Include:

Operating production machinery
Weighing and mixing ingredients
Packing finished products
Quality checking products
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following health and safety procedures

Requirements:

Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
Previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential

Important Information:

This is a dusty working environment due to the nature of the products being manufactured. As a result, this role is not suitable for anyone who suffers from asthma or other respiratory conditions.
