Production Operative

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company is hiring a dedicated Production Operative to join their team in South Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the build, test, and inspection of high-quality marine products in a supportive and safety-conscious environment. What you''ll be doing: Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts, ensuring high workmanship standards. Support the preparation of mouldings to meet production schedules. Help in the preparation and bonding of boats, including cutting, grinding, and flow coating bonded boats. Contribute to the manufacturing process across various stages as directed by your line supervisor. Support the production of sub-assemblies when required. Assist in training new team members and other personnel. Maintain a clean and organised workstation. Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times. Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management. What you''ll bring: A good standard of general education. Practical experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment, with the ability to use conventional power and hand tools. A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly. Organised, reliable, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
