Production Operative

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production activities safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards to meet operational requirements and customer specifications.This role will mainly focus on working with PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) and operating the HPR (High Pressure Reactor), while also remaining flexible and adaptable to support other production areas, including milling, dispersions, and emulsions, as required. A strong commitment to health, safety, environmental standards, and product quality is essential.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor the PVB production process in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.Set up, operate, and monitor the HPR to ensure safe and efficient production.Charge raw materials into vessels and reactors in line with batch instructions and process requirements.Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and reaction times, making adjustments where authorised.Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults, defects, or process deviations.Complete production documentation accurately and maintain records in line with quality standards.Perform sampling and basic quality checks as required by production procedures.Work flexibly across the manufacturing department and support other production areas, including milling, dropping out, dispersions, and emulsions, as ..... full job details .....
