Production Operative

Our client is seeking a reliable individual to join their sawmill production team. This hands-on role involves working on the production line in a physically demanding environment, which includes heavy lifting and exposure to loud machinery. Due to remote location, you will need your own transport 7am-6pm Mon to Thursday 7am- 4pm Friday 53 hours per week We are looking for hard working, reliable individuals to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis. Working on a large saw milling production line, running timber through machines Preparing and stacking them onto pallets and preparing pallets for distribution Opportunity to be cross trainied on different elements of the machines and processes as the job evolves A level of fitness is required due to the manual nature of the role To demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to the varied elements of the position. To be prepared to carry out standby/emergency duties, usually cleaning when required.
