Some key responsibilities and accountabilities: Working as a supportive and active team member within the department, Setting up, operating and maintaining the production machines where trained and authorised, Carrying out production processes in line with standard operating procedures, including but not limited to: Operating to First In First Out (FIFO) lanes, Rumbling, Knocking on, Hand winding, Spot welding via a machine, Tapping, Cut and buckle, Hanging on. Product measuring to ensure compliance with quality standards and safe operating tolerances; Packing manufactured products, Comply with all Health and Safety policies, risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times, including correct use of PPE, Immediate reporting of hazards, near misses, incidents or unsafe conditions in line with company procedures, Stop work where there is a genuine safety concern and escalate appropriately, Fault finding on machines in order to rectify or report as required, To assist in end of shift cleaning / housekeeping duties to 5S standards and activ...
