Production Operative

Impact Recruitment are currently working with a well-established injection moulding manufacturer based in Corby who are looking to recruit two Production Operatives to join their weekend night shift. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering excellent work-life balance, a competitive starting salary, and a clear pay increase following a successful probation period.

Location: Corby
Hours: Friday to Sunday, 18:00 - 06:00 (36 hours per week)
Pay: -14.00 per hour, increasing to -14.50 per hour after a successful 4-month probation (subject to attendance and performance)
Training: Six days of paid day-shift training over two weeks before moving onto the permanent weekend night shift
Contract: Temp to Perm

Duties:

• Operate and monitor injection moulding machinery throughout the shift
• Unload finished products from machinery
• Carry out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
• Report any machine faults or production issues to the relevant supervisor
• Pack finished products ready for dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all health & safety and production procedures

The ideal candidate must:

• Have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Be reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Be physically fit and comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
• Have a good eye for detail and a quality-focused approach
• Be willing to learn and follow established production procedures
• Be looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity
