Production Operative

Job Title: Production OperativeSalary: 12.71p/hLocation: Worsley HRGO are currently recruiting for a reliable and hands-on Production Operative with experience working in a workshop, engineering, manufacturing or mechanical environment.This is a varied role combining workshop duties with customer support responsibilities. The successful candidate will be involved in refurbishing and inspecting mechanical seals, managing stock, and supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop. Key Responsibilities Refurbish and repair mechanical seals using workshop machinery and hand tools.Carry out quality inspections on incoming and outgoing products.Operate workshop equipment, including lapping machines, lathes, and milling machines (training provided where required).Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.Support other workshop and operational activities as required. Requirements:Essential:Previous experience working in a workshop, engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical environment.Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment.Excellent customer service skills.Good organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Desirable:Experience in mechanical seal refurbishment or a similar engineering industry.
