Job Title: Production OperativeHours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pmLocation: SpekeSalary: 16.25p/h We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on batch production and quality-driven manufacturing processes. If you have proven batch production experience and previous manufacturing experience, we want to hear from you! Please note, this role involves heavy lifting. Key responsibilitiesOperate and monitor batch production processes to produce materials to specificationWeigh, measure and accurately mix raw materials and formulations according to batch sheetsPrepare, load and unload ovens and curing equipment; assist with spray/powder application lines where requiredCarry out pre-treatment tasks (masking, degreasing, blasting) and basic surface preparation as neededPerform quality checks and inspections, record batch data and maintain production paperworkMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all health and safety, COSHH and PPE proceduresReport equipment faults and assist with routine machine cleaning and basic maintenanceWork effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlinesHeavy lifting of materials (25kg and above).
