Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Location: Stevenage Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am-5pm and Friday, 7am-2pm Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour (to be revised upon probation completion) Our award-winning client based in Stevenage are looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. They are seeking an all-rounder that can perform a number of Manufacturing duties, using a wide range of power/hand tools and machines, with a view of an immediate start.Main duties as a Production Operative: - Preparation of materials to be used in the production of the heating elements - Resistive wire coiling and spot welding - General production of heating elements using a various number of machines such as filling machine, rolling machine, skinning machine, press, CNC bending machines, powder digging and chamfering machines - Maintain tooling and machines to keep in good working condition and report any potential issues with tooling to the Supervisor - Adhere to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the factory and report safety concerns to the Supervisor - Screening and quality checking of the components What''s needed as a Production Operative: - Previous experience working withing a Manufacturing and Production environment - Previous experience operating Machine''s and Power/Hand Tools - Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads - Open to long-term opportunities and become a ..... full job details .....
