Production Operative

We require a Production Operative to start work as soon as possible at our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port. The working hours for this role will be 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 1 pm each Friday. The rate of pay for this job is an excellent £12.90 per hour. Traditionally, this client tends to employ suitable workers for extremely long periods, which often lead to permanent contracts. Working as part of a small team, the role will involve emptying bagged ingredients into hoppers and packing and palletising the finished product ready for dispatch. Successful candidates will also be required to perform basic hygiene duties to maintain a clean working environment. Applicants must be available long-term with the strong possibility of the position eventually turning into a permanent contract. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required, as there is some heavy lifting and prolonged standing involved. Full training will be provided, including manual handling and general workplace hygiene. Our client also offers hot and cold drinks, as well as a friendly working environment for all employees.
