Production Operative

Job Purpose: As a Production Operator you will operate in a Food Processing environment using machinery and equipment involved in the production of cream-based products, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities: Operate production machinery for cream manufacturing. Monitor production processes, filling, and packaging, to ensure smooth operation. Perform routine quality control checks. Record production data and maintain accurate batch documentation / traceability. Ensure all production activities comply with procedures, food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas before and after use. Identify and report machinery faults. Able to perform some PPM duties. Follow all health and safety procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in dairy or food production advantageous. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards advantageous. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, monitor, and adjust machinery including fault identification and corrective action. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Capable of lifting.
