About the Role

Manpower UK seeks Production Operatives for a manufacturing client in Dewsbury on a temporary, long-term ongoing contract. Working 39 hours weekly across rotating shifts, staff cover 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Thursday, with earlier finishes on Friday. Pay starts at £14.62 hourly, rising to £15.53 after twelve weeks' service. Duties involve general production tasks; prior manufacturing experience is preferred, though full training is given. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Due to start times and site location, applicants must drive or reside within walking distance. Own transport is required.

Production Operative (Long-Term Ongoing Contract)
Location: Dewsbury
Working Hours: Rotating shifts

Morning Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Friday)
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Friday)
Total Weekly Hours: 39 hours

Pay Rates:

Rotating Shift: £14.62 per hour
Pay Rise: After 12 weeks of service - £15.53

Job Overview:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Dewsbury and are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join their team as Unskilled Production Operatives on a long-term, ongoing contract. The ideal candidates will have previous production experience, although full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Packing orders and preparing products for dispatch
Feeding machines and monitoring their operation
Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on the production shop floor
Supporting other tasks on the production line as required

Requirements:

Previous production experience is preferred
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety standards
Flexibility to work on rotating shifts
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
