The Role Position: Full-time, permanent Location: Dover, UK - Will need to drive due to location Shifts: 4 on / 4 off 5:45am to 6:15pm Hours: 40.25 per week (12.5-hour shifts) Pay: £12.71 per hour (days) As a Production Operative, you''ll help manufacture high-quality products, operate production machinery, handle materials, and support smooth, efficient production processes. Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Assemble, pack, and inspect products in line with quality standards. Carry out routine quality checks and report any defects or issues. Load and unload raw materials and finished goods. Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety regulations. Follow production schedules and work to daily output targets. Pay and Progression After 3-month probation: £12.71 an hour Career Development Path: Progress to Multiskilled Operator after learning all six operational roles (£13.90 per hour, typically within6-12 months). Roles include: Stacking and Packing, Quality Control, Material Loading, and Machinery Operation.
