Production Operative

Production Operative – Just Temps are recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a leading manufacturer based near Woodbridge, Suffolk. As a trusted temporary staffing partner, we’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced production environment supporting a well-established, quality-driven business in this full-time, temporary to permanent  position. Working full-time hours on rotating shifts and immediate starts available following a successful interview.

The Role:

As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in helping manufacture a high-quality range of sauces for retail and food service markets. You'll be working as part of a collaborative team, contributing to various stages of the production process - from preparing ingredients and operating machinery to quality control and packaging.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Support production by following recipes, specifications, and performing quality control checks with accurate record-keeping.
• Operate machinery across multiple production lines, including cooking, filling, labelling, and capping.
• Conduct regular cleaning, hygiene tasks, and follow a ‘clean as you go’ policy to maintain food safety and a tidy work area.
• Load raw materials and stack finished products efficiently.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and product transitions as required.

Shifts & Pay:

• Rotating shifts: 5:45 AM – 2:00 PM and 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
• Hourly rate: £12.24 per hour
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, full-time
