Production Operative

Overview
On Point Personnel are looking for food production operatives for our client based in North Leeds LS16

PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS TO START ON MONDAY 4th AUGUST

Must have own transport

Temp To Perm Position

Day shifts 07.30-16.00 Monday to Thursday early finish on Fridays 2pm

Basic -12.21 this will be increased after training period

Duties

• Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Document production data accurately, including quantities produced and any discrepancies encountered during the process.

Experience

• Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic maths skills are required for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety practices is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and processes within the production environment is essential.
