Production Operative

Production operator, Milton, £33,852 (Including shift allowance) + Productivity bonus, 10% company contribution pension

Day shift only (12 hours) Average 42 hours per week, working 4 days one week, followed by 3 days the next.

About the client

ATA are currently working with one of the UKs largest construction materials manufacturing groups, supporting on a recruitment drive for their established site in the Oxfordshire region. The company who has been established for over 60 years employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business has been able to whether the storm of a turbulent period for UK housing, investing over £150m over their 15 sites since 2022 with further plans to grow moving into 2026. They are now looking for a production operator to join their established team on a days only shift pattern.

About the role

As a production operator you will be responsible for helping the site meet their production targets in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities include:

-         Operating a variety of production machinery

-         Upholding manufacturing process

-         Reporting equipment faults to the maintenance team.

-         Manual labour & general housekeeping tasks

-         Maintaining health and safety standards

-         Maintaining health and safety record

About you

To be considered for this production operator role you need the following:

-         Previous experience working as an operator (Ideally from a factory environment).

-         Be physically fit

-         You must be happy to work within an industrial manufacturing environment

-         Have health and safety at the forefront of your mind.

-         Well organised in terms of maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
