Production Operative

Pay:12.75 per hour

Job Description:

Red Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our manufacturing client team. Within your role, you will be in control of the manufacturing machine process. This involves but is not limited to; filling, mixing, blending the adhesive batches and packaging tasks ready to be dispatched.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of mixing and blending equipment
• Monitor the production process
• Ensure machinery is cleaned out and refilled correctly
• Ensure all raw materials are accurately picked and returned to correct locations and ensure any electronic transactions are accurately completed. Report any stock location discrepancies to your line manager / supervisor
• Ensure the product is packaged and labelled correctly in time to be dispatched
• Store finished goods in the appropriate locations and ensure associated electronic records are accurately completed
• Safely move goods by hand or by operating an industrial powered truck (forklift)
• Ensure that your working area is tidied up with all rubbish removed at the end of the day /each shift
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers respectfully and effectively.
• Take an active role in root cause analyses exercises

Requirements

• Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience operating powered truck (forklift)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexible approach to evolving working patterns and to take on extra duties as required

Shift

Monday to Thursday: 06:00-17:00
