Production Operative

Production Operative - Weekend Shift 
Location: St Neots Cambridgeshire
Hours: 34 hours per week
Shift Pattern:

• Friday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm)
• Saturday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm) 
• Sunday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm)
• Monday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm) 

Do you have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment?

Attega Group is currently working exclusively with our client who specialise in high-quality, turnkey solutions in print, signage, and fabrication.

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join the weekend shift team in a busy department. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate large-format printers 
• Interpret job specifications to ensure accurate setup and materials.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean working area.
• Prepare jobs for fabrication measuring, templating, and hand trimming.
• Finish products by welding, eyeleting, and completing quality inspections.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure jobs are completed to spec and on schedule.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience within a Manufacturing or Production environment
• Willing to learn attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with MIS systems and basic IT skills.
• Team player with great communication skills.
• Flexible, dependable, and willing to work overtime if required.
• Consistently punctual with a proactive mindset.
