Production Operative

Production Operative Required!

BE recruitment is currently recruiting for a production operative for a manufacturing client based in LE19 area. A Production Operative will be responsible for preparing materials for either painting or welding. This will include operating machinery and using numerous power and hand tools.

Pay:

-14.37 P/H.

Hours:

Monday - Friday | 07:30 - 16:00

Key responsibilities:

• Cutting pipe using Chop Saws, Grinders and Drills to create parts specified
• Fettling and cleaning items
• Use of hand tools such as grinders and orbitals
• Cleaning of saw room and maintenance of all machines in the saw room
• Swaging of parts to required measurements
• Drilling and deburring items ready for painting
• Maintaining the highest possible standard of work
• Understanding of angles and trajectory
• Packing away of raw materials that have been delivered
• Assist in Glue when required
