Production Operative - Bakery

As a Bakery Operative, you''ll be working in a large-scale, state-of-the-art automated plant bakery producing a wide range of breads and bakery products. You''ll operate modern machinery and production lines to create large batches that are packaged and distributed to wholesale customers. This is a hands-on production role within a busy manufacturing environment, with varied duties across the bakery process. Locations: Iver, BuckinghamshirePay Rate: 12.71 per hourShifts: Sunday to Friday - Varied shift times (that are dictated by the client):6am-2pm7am-3pm8am-4pm9am-5pm10am-6pm12pm-8pm2pm-10pm Key Responsibilities:Your duties may include some or all of the following (depending on the area/shift):Wrapping, slicing and packaging bread productsPart-baking and freezing produceSetting temperatures and cooking times for different productsAccurately weighing and preparing ingredients for mixingMixing, dividing and shaping dough prior to bakingBaking various products (breads, rolls, ciabatta etc.)Operating modern machinery and technology throughout the processCleaning machinery and keeping workstations hygienic and tidy Requirements:Practical, hands-on approach (creative skills are beneficial)Ability to read and understand labels/instructionsConfident with basic arithmetic (weights/measures, cooking times, temperatures)Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving itemsExperience is not essential (training provided), but would be beneficialFlexible to work any of the ..... full job details .....
