PRODUCTION OPERATORS

Salary / rate: £12-21 per hour basic for over 21* - days rate - 7-30 to 4-30 monday to thursday; 7-30 to 2 friday - NOTE: we work every other friday so this is a 37 hour week                   

* £10-00 basic for 18 to 20 years 

Work is regular days initially. Some of the roles will remain on days and some will move to 2 or 3 shifts once training is complete - the roles are to be an operator on a variety of press and print lines and are as a result of sales growth. 

2 shift rate - 20% premium for both shifts: 6-2; 2-10

3 shift rate - 33% premium for all shifts: 6-2; 2-10; 10-6 in rotation

Note - every other friday is a non-work day so there is no friday 2-10 shift

Ashfield Extrusion Ltd is a specialist in the manufacture of aluminium impact extrusions and subsequent machining, finishing and printing operations. The Company makes a wide range of products for a number of markets. We export over 50% of what we make.

Owing to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a number of people for permanent work on days to begin with but shift work may be available after training. Most of our workforce are on regular days. 

We would also be willing to take on some people for temporary contracts whilst we are recruiting for the permanent positions.

Holidays are 24 per year plus statutory.
