Production Operative

Production Operative - Rotating Shifts - Ongoing Work

We are recruiting for Production Operative roles in Redditch. You will be working for a well-established automotive manufacturer operating assembly machinery and supporting the production of high-quality glass and glazing products.

• Rate of Pay: £14.35 per hour
• Hours of Work: Rotating Monday to Friday shifts
  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6am-2pm and Friday, 6am-12pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10pm and Friday, 12pm-6pm
• Location: Redditch
• Duration: Ongoing

• Operating assembly and production machinery safely and efficiently

• Preparing, measuring and supplying raw materials to machinery

• Monitoring production processes to ensure operational targets are achieved

• Carrying out quality checks and basic testing on finished products

• Identifying and resolving minor production or machinery issues

• Recording production data and completing relevant paperwork accurately

• Reporting machinery faults and maintenance concerns promptly

• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

• Following all health and safety procedures

• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets

• Previous production, manufacturing or machinery operating experience is preferred but not essential

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Able to carry out manual handling and physically demanding duties

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Flexible and able to work the rotating shift pattern
