Production Operative

Production Operative AM2PM are recruiting for Production Operatives to work for one of our clients in the Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, OL6 area.Job Details: Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater ManchesterShifts: Morning Shift: 6 am - 2 pm (Friday: 6 am - 1 pm)Afternoon Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm (Friday: 1 pm - 8 pm) Schedule: Monday to FridayPay rate: £12.71 per hour Requirements of a Production Operative: To be successful in this role, you should have: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with machine operations (training will be provided for specific machinery).The ability to work towards daily targets and KPIs.A proactive and adaptable attitude to learning new skills.The ability to reliably arrive by 6 am for morning shifts.Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (this role is not suitable for students). Responsibilities of a Production Operative: As a Production Operative, your key responsibilities will include: Operating various machines to manufacture soft furnishings.Packing finished goods on the conveyor belt.Performing warehouse duties such as picking, packing, loading, and unloading trailers.Meeting daily production targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
