Night Shift Operative - Glass CuttingLocation: HU2 Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday Hours: 9:00pm - 4:30am or 10:00pm - 5:30am Pay Rate: 16.90 per hour Overtime: AvailableThe RoleWe are currently recruiting a reliable Night Shift Operative to join our glass cutting operation at our HU2 site. This role sits within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and plays a key part in meeting daily production requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.You will be responsible for operating glass-cutting machinery and associated tools, ensuring glass is measured, cut, and prepared accurately to specification. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to safe working practices.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating glass-cutting machinery and hand toolsMeasuring, cutting, and preparing glass to precise specificationsHandling glass and materials safely at all timesCarrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet standardsWorking efficiently to meet production targetsMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe work areaFollowing all health and safety procedures and site rulesSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in glass cutting or a similar production, manufacturing, or precision cutting roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of health and safety in a factory environmentReliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts consistentlyComfortable working independently in a physical, fast-paced ..... full job details .....
