Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy industrial site based in Hyde. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for reliable and hardworking candidates.

The role involves supporting day-to-day production activities, including operating machinery and ensuring products are manufactured efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting up machinery and ensuring it is running correctly
• Carrying out basic quality checks on products
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Loading raw materials into machines and handling finished goods
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting other areas of production when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or industrial environment is desirable
• Experience operating machinery is preferred (full training can be provided)
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
