Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will help build and assemble timber frames and components used in the construction of new homes. You will be working as part of a production team, using a range of hand tools, machinery and equipment to produce work to a high-quality standard. Key Duties: Building and assembling timber frames and components Using hand tools, tape measures and nail guns Measuring materials accurately Reading and working from technical drawings Using computers and production systems Operating and programming machinery following training Carrying out quality checks on completed work Ensuring finished products meet required quality standards Working towards daily production targets Following health and safety procedures at all times Keeping your working area clean and organised Essential Skills: Experience using hand tools Confident using a tape measure accurately ...
