Production Operatives - Food ManufacturingWidnes (West Bank) 12.21 per hour Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays) Temp to PermAcorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting Production Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for a respected food manufacturing client in the West Bank area of Widnes.Our client is a leading wholesale bacon curing company, specialising in both Dry Cured and Tank Cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, they are known for high-quality produce and fast, efficient service.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering full training, friendly and modern working conditions, and long-term career prospects.Key Duties:Operating food production machinery.Packing and labelling products to specification.Following strict food hygiene and health and safety guidelines.Working as part of a production team to meet dispatch deadlines.Completing hygiene and clean-down duties.Performing basic quality checks.Requirements:Manual handling experience.Good awareness of food hygiene and general health and safety practices.Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude.Previous production experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment (preferred).Hours of Work:Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.Tuesday and Thursday extended shifts until 6pm.Some Saturday work may be required, depending on business needs.Pay and Progression:Starting rate: 12.21 ..... full job details .....
