Production Operative 56 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Manufacturing Operative / Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating machinery, carrying out general factory duties, and helping to produce high-volume goods efficiently and to a high standard. The position requires long working hours and a strong commitment to the shift pattern, including mandatory overtime every Friday. Reliability, stamina, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to produce goods to required specifications Carry out basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products as required Conduct regular quality checks and complete production records accurately Follow all production targets and ensure output meets company standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and hygiene procedures Assist with general factory duties and support other team members when needed Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating role (preferred) Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment Must be 100% committed to the working hours and shift pattern Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and quality awareness Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a factory ..... full job details .....
