Production Operations - Team Leader role at AWE. Location: Coulport, near Helensburgh (Scotland - 20 minutes north of Helensburgh). Package: Up to £50k (dependent on experience and suitability). Working pattern: Monday – Thursday (core hours) with potential to increase earnings through shifts and overtime, including occasional weekend work and shifts over 7 days.Ready to play your part? This role involves leading and supervising teams of operations staff to safely deliver programmes, tasks and products in line with customer requirements to time, cost and quality.Responsibilities
Lead and supervise operations staff to deliver programmes, tasks and products safely and in compliance with quality standards, meeting customer requirements.Plan and prioritise weekly tasks as a key member of a cross-functional operational delivery team.Ensure KPIs are consistently met and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, while maintaining safety and quality.What we’re looking for
Experience of leading, coaching and developing teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.Demonstrable manufacturing knowledge.Desirable experience
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations.Ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience of dealing with sensitive situations.MRP/ERP experience.First Aid trained.Benefits

Due to the role, you will be required to work shifts (covering 24/7 and overtime including weekends) and travel may be required both in the UK and abroad.
