Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily production activities to meet customer orders.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and food safety.
- Monitor stock levels of packaging materials such as trays and boxes.
- Ensure allergen controls are followed to prevent cross-contamination.
- Report any machinery or production issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Support waste reduction initiatives across production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexible with their approach and willing to learn.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience within food manufacturing (particularly chilled, frozen, meat, or retail products) is advantageous but not essential.
- A Food Hygiene certificate is beneficial, although not required.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71.
