Production Manager

TXM Recruit is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Production Manager to oversee production operations at their Milton Keynes site. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering-focused leader to take ownership of production performance, drive continuous improvement and ensure operations meet customer delivery, quality, cost and output requirements.Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead and develop a large, multi-functional team, ensuring resources are used effectively, production plans are achieved and high standards of safety, quality and productivity are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day production operations, ensuring delivery, quality, cost and output targets are consistently achieved.Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on productivity, resource utilisation, labour efficiency and waste reduction.Oversee short- and medium-term production planning, while supporting the implementation of longer-term operational plans.Manage departmental budgets and maintain financial control across products and projects.Lead, motivate and develop a large production team, setting clear objectives and maintaining high standards of performance.Work closely with internal departments, including Quality, HR, Finance and Commercial, to ensure effective coordination and delivery.Monitor team competencies, identify training requirements and support individual development plans to build a flexible and capable workforce.Maintain effective ..... full job details .....
