This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Food Production and is looking to take ownership of the daily production process in a company that values craftsmanship and community.Day-to-day of the role:Oversee the production of a diverse range of ice cream products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.Lead, train, and motivate a small production team to achieve excellent results.Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, with a good understanding of HACCP.Manage stock levels, ingredient ordering, and production scheduling efficiently.Monitor and maintain production equipment, addressing any issues promptly.Collaborate with management to support new product development and manage seasonal product ranges.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in ice cream or gelato production.Strong leadership and organisational skills, capable of leading a small team.Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all aspects of production.Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with both production staff and management.Benefits:Generous holiday allowance plus an extra day off on your birthday.Early finish on ..... full job details .....
