Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee daily operations of the wash facilities and pre-pack area to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders to manage workflow, shift planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and optimize line performance, including packs per minute, packaging usage, checkweigher outputs, and camera grading system.
• Ensure all production activities comply with BRC Global Standards and internal quality protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide daily and weekly updates to the Operations Manager on KPIs, staffing, and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a production management role within a similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop team leaders.
• Knowledge of BRC Global Standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement.
