Production Manager

Production Manager £45-£48k Our client is an established manufacturing business currently going through a period of investment and change. They are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day production operation and lead a team of around 20 people. You''ll manage 2 Team Leaders and around 20 operatives, so this role is very much about getting the best from your team. You''ll need to be a confident and approachable manager who can develop people, manage performance and create a positive working environment. The Role of the Production Manager - You''ll be responsible for: Managing and developing the production team and Team Leaders. Planning and managing day-to-day production priorities. Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety. Making sure the team has the equipment, resources and support they need. Identifying and implementing improvements across production. Supporting changes to equipment, processes and the production environment. Working with other departments to keep production running effectively. What we''re looking for in the Production Manager - You''ll need previous experience as a Production Manager, Production Leader or similar within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Strong people management skills are essential.
