K.A.G Recruitment are delighted to bring you a new and exclusive opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join one of Europe''s leading privately-owned food manufacturers at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Doncaster. Position: Production Manager Location: Doncaster Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE plus KPI Bonus Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (with flexibility on day off to suit business needs) Reporting to: Operations Manager Purpose of the Role As Production Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the production operation, ensuring customer orders are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification whilst driving productivity, quality, cost and service performance. Key Responsibilities Lead all production activities to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full and to specification. Drive site performance across key operational KPIs including labour efficiency, yields, giveaway, service levels and production costs. Develop, motivate and coach Production Teams to achieve operational excellence. Promote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles. Work closely with Planning, Technical, HR, Engineering, Purchasing and Finance to maximise site performance. Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety and all legislative requirements. Lead daily production reviews and implement corrective actions.
