We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a food manufacturing business in Norfolk.
This is a hands-on Production Manager role with day-to-day responsibility for output, team support and factory standards. You will be expected to stay close to the operation, work alongside supervisors and production teams on the shop floor, and help keep the factory running safely and efficiently.
The client is keen to hear from established Production Managers, but will also consider strong Production Supervisors or Team Leaders from food manufacturing who are ready to step into a broader role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading day-to-day production activity across the factory
• Supporting and managing supervisors and production teams
• Monitoring output, labour, quality and food safety standards
• Acting as the main escalation point for production issues
• Supporting KPI reporting and daily operational communication
• Helping maintain GMP, hygiene and audit standards
• Working closely with other operational teams across the site
• Supporting training, structure and day-to-day team performance

What We’re Looking For

• Production management, supervisory or team leadership experience within food manufacturing
• Good understanding of factory operations and day-to-day production pressures
• Knowledge of food safety, quality and compliance standards
• A hands-on approach and confidence leading from the shop floor
• Able to solve problems, make decisions and keep teams on track
• Clear communication skills and a practical management style
