Production Manager

Handley James have been retained by a key client who manufacture bespoke products to source a Production Manager for their site in Ashton. They are looking to recruit this individual to support the continued growth and expansion of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a well established SME and make a real difference to their production facility.

You will take full responsibility for:

• Ensuring Health and Safety standards are followed by all
• Managing the production department
• Delivering high-quality products on an OTIF basis
• Implementing practical lean process improvements
• Developing key performance measures within the department
• Developing and coaching teams
• Establishing effective processes and structures

An experienced Production Supervisor or Production Manager, you will have gained experience within a growing manufacturing business. Ideally, you will have worked in a bespoke or made-to-order manufacturing environment. You will have a proven track record of implementing lean principles or practical improvements that add value to the bottom line, alongside successfully introducing effective new processes.
