About the Role for the Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and results-driven Production Manager to join our food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the highest standards of quality, food safety and hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and proven experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Manager

- Oversee and manage daily production activities to meet production targets and customer demands.

- Plan, organise and monitor production schedules to ensure efficient use of staff, equipment and materials.

- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, HACCP procedures, health and safety regulations, and company quality standards.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production facility.

- Lead, motivate and supervise production staff, providing training and support where required.

- Monitor product quality, minimise waste and reduce production costs without compromising standards.

Requirements and Qualifications for the Production Manager

- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.

- Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene standards and quality control procedures.

- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

- Excellent planning, problem-solving and organisational abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

- Good understanding of production processes, stock control and waste management.
