Production Manager

Our client is a UK leading food processor based near Pontefract specialising in pre prepared products, catering to places such as supermarkets and food service providers.They are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join their team. Your job is to oversee the effective management of production, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and alignment with company objectives. This role involves meeting production targets, whilst fostering a safe, well-maintained, and operationally efficient environment, to produce the high quality products expected by the customers. Management of the site''s food safety culture, to help prevent deviation in the process that impacts the safety, quality and legality of our products. Leading and motivating production teams to deliver optimal performance. Managing day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades ensuring all facilities and assets are maintained to the required standard, within budget. Monitor and manage the performance of service contracts, ensuring delivery meets agreed service levels. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building regulations, managing all activities to ensure that safety, programme, cost and quality objectives are met. Facilitate and lead the development and implementation of capital and revenue projects and strategies for site improvements and modernisation, in line with business needs.
