Production Manager

DarcyBrook Procurement and Supply has been engaged to recruit a Production Manager for a FMCG/Manufacturing company based in Dorset. You will be essential to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring smooth workflows, and achieving production targets. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: The Production Manager will play a critical role in identifying and nurturing talent within the company. They will direct and support production staff, including training, daily supervision, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.Peak Season and Temporary Workforce Management: This role requires excellent workforce planning skills, as the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing an additional seasonal workers during peak production months.Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet customer and company standards by coordinating with Quality Control and Technical departments to uphold high-quality standards.Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are available, managing stock levels and preventing delays.Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency improvement, implement Lean or similar methodologies, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.Efficiency and Cost Control: Work closely with senior leadership to implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency in production.Crisis Management and Problem Solving: ..... full job details .....
