Production Manager

Production Leader Salary: Circa £45,000pa Location: Northfleet Contract type: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday Annual leave: 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays Bonus: Performance based annual bonus up to 15% Pension: 5% Role Overview: We are seeking a Production Leader to lead, manage and develop production teams, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement across our clients site. The ideal candidate will come from a fast-paced FMCG, Food or Textile background production environment, with experience in high-volume processing operations and a strong understanding of quality and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop production leaders and team leaders, managing performance, absence and health and safety compliance. Oversee and optimise high-volume production line operations to ensure maximum efficiency and output. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and resolve production issues. Monitor and report on KPIs, recommending actions to improve efficiency and quality. Plan and coordinate production resources to meet targets and deadlines. Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs and productivity.
