Are you an experienced manufacturing leader ready to shape the future of operations? A leading global food manufacturer is seeking a Packing Section Lead to take ownership of its production site and drive world-class performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost, sustainability, and team engagement.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of plant production operations, ensuring the successful execution of the site’s manufacturing strategy. Your mission will be to create a high-performing, autonomous team culture that delivers continuous improvement and best-in-class performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. IL6S, Autonomous Maintenance, Progressive Maintenance).
- Drive site performance against SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale).
- Lead governance and review processes to ensure consistent operational performance and compliance.
- Champion a zero-loss mindset across the team.
- Ensure all operational and regulatory standards are upheld (quality, safety, GMP, environmental, etc.).
- Develop and retain talent by building strong technical and behavioural capability across all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams both within and outside the plant.
About You:
- Proven experience in manufacturing/operations leadership within a fast-paced FMCG or CPG environment.
- Deep knowledge of lean tools such as, 5S, Six Sigma.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Engineering background preferred, with sound financial and business acumen.
- Project management skills and knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance.
