Production Manager Wakefield, WF2 £52,000 Per Annum plus benefits Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 16:00pm with a 30 Minute lunch. Friday 08:00am 13:30pm. Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Wakefield based client to recruit an experienced Production Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage the day-to-day operations of the fabrication and manufacturing workshop, ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved. Plan and schedule production activities to maximise efficiency, machine utilisation and labour resources. Lead, motivate and develop the production team, promoting high standards of workmanship, accountability and teamwork. Oversee the operation of CNC fibre laser cutting machine, press brake, welding equipment and general fabrication machinery, ensuring they are operated safely and efficiently whilst also operating the laser, press brake and fabrication equipment alongside other operatives whilst the production facility grows and develops. Ensure all machinery is correctly maintained, serviced and calibrated, coordinating preventative maintenance to minimise downtime. Monitor production performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve quality.
