You''ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Bodyshop Manager, leading a skilled team of technicians and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest manufacturer standards in a fast-paced, modern working environment.

The Role

As a Production Manager, you''ll oversee the day-to-day workflow of the bodyshop, ensuring productivity, quality and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved. You''ll provide technical leadership, support the development of your team and ensure operational efficiency across every stage of the repair process.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the bodyshop to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality targets are achieved.
• Manage workshop operations in the absence of the Bodyshop Manager.
• Provide technical guidance on panel repairs, refinishing, welding, structural repairs and vehicle alignments.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist with ordering parts, reviewing job packs and coordinating workshop administration.
• Mentor, coach and develop technicians to improve performance, efficiency and teamwork.
• Monitor workloads, track repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed on time.
• Manage stock levels and ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained.
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment while ensuring health and safety compliance.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Workshop Controller, Bodyshop Supervisor or similar leadership role within an accident repair centre.
• Strong technical background in vehicle body repair with excellent knowledge of structural and mechanical repairs.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation within a bodyshop environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 5:00pm
