Production Machine Operator

Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Production Machine Operative on behalf of our established client,based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business on a permanent basis.

Location: Daventry
Salary: -26,609.99 per annum-
Hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 08:30am - 5:00pm
  -
• Friday: 08:30am - 4:00pm
  -

The Role:

As a Production Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, assembling abrasive products, and ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the manufacturing process.-
Key Responsibilities

• Setting up, calibrating and operating production machinery
  -
• Cutting, slitting, pressing and assembling products
  -
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
  -
• Carrying out quality inspections and completing production records
  -
• Performing routine machine maintenance and cleaning
  -
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch
  -
• Following all health and safety procedures
  -
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.-

About You

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

• Strong attention to detail
  -
• Ability to follow technical instructions and production documentation
  -
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  -
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience would be advantageous
  -
• Basic mechanical aptitude is desirable.
