Production / Machine Operator

Hales Group is happy to be working with their client to assist them in finding a Site Technician/Plant Operator. This company is one of the leaders in the renewable energy market as a significant contributor to the production of biomass energy for the home market. To be successful in this role, ideally you will have experience with performing maintenance task on machinery within the energy sector, however the company will be open to discussions from candidates with a plant/production background and have some experience with mechanical and/or electrical knowledge; along with fault finding capabilities. Job Purpose Assisting the Production Team Leader in the safe and efficient running of the plant, you will undertake inspection and operational duties, which include plant monitoring and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure maximum plant availability and performance. This role is based on a shift pattern to cover a 24-hour operation. Salary and Hours Starting from £32,000 per annum but may be negotiable for the right skills.
