Production Logistics Operative

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Production Logistics Operative on a 12 Month Contract based in Stafford. Role Summary Our client, a leading name in energy manufacturing, is looking for a Production Logistics Operative to keep their manufacturing line supplied with the right parts at the right time. You''ll be part of a busy production-support team, making sure materials move smoothly from receiving to the shop floor. Responsibilities Moving materials from goods-in and production areas to the right locations using manual or electric hand trucks Kitting: gathering and preparing parts and materials ready for delivery to the manufacturing line Picking orders for the production lines Packing finished units into crates Following health, safety and environmental (EHS) best practice and meeting the client''s EHS standards at all times Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, walking and standing for most of the shift Good attention to detail, so the right parts go to the right place A reliable, safety-conscious approach and a team-player attitude Basic reading and number skills for checking pick lists and labels Experience with an ERP or stock system Forklift licence Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first ..... full job details .....
