Rotating shifts Am and PM 42.5 hours Poole 33,000pa Permanent Holt Engineering is recruiting for a Production Line Operator to join a well-established and growing automotive operation in Poole.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for cars and who is mechanically mindedRather than traditional servicing and repairs, you''ll use your mechanical knowledge to safely dismantle vehicles and remove valuable automotive components for reuse and recycling.You''ll be working hands-on with a wide variety of vehicles, using hand and power tools to remove everything from doors and interior components through to suspension and powertrain parts.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely dismantle end-of-life vehiclesIdentify and remove quality automotive parts for reuseRemove mechanical and electrical vehicle componentsDismantle and remove doors, windows and glazingRemove interior and exterior vehicle componentsRemove suspension and powertrain componentsRemove dashboards and associated partsUse a range of hand and power tools safely and effectivelyExtract and separate recyclable materialsSort waste materials into the correct recycling streamsFollow quality, safety and environmental proceduresWork efficiently to achieve daily production targetsMaintain a clean, safe and organised working areaWork closely with colleagues to keep the production line running effectivelyWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious hands-on mechanical or vehicle experienceGood knowledge of vehicle components ..... full job details .....
