This is an exciting opportunity to join a major food manufacturing business at a key stage of its development. The site is a large-scale poultry processing and packaging facility employing over 1,200 people, with significant investment and expansion planned over the next 2-3 years to develop the site into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. As the Production Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading a busy, high-volume production area covering filleting and trimming, whole birds and packaging lines. You will directly lead 6 Key Operatives and oversee a wider team of up to 100 production operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, food safety and efficiency. You will be a visible leader on the factory floor, managing day-to-day production, developing your team, resolving operational issues and working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning and other departments to ensure production runs efficiently.
