Production Foreman

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a production foreman for our client - the UKs largest Precision Tube Manufacturer in the UK. This is a full time position based in OldburyThe main purpose of the role will be to manage and oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing the production teams, co-ordinating workflow and driving continuous improvement across the rolling mills, slitting department and goods in planning. You will need to be a strong people manager, pro-active and detail oriented - playing a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of production processes, ensuring product quality and fostering a safe and productive work environment. 3 years minimum experience within a supervisor / team leader / foreman / management position, in a manufacturing environment, ideally within steel, metal or heavy industries, is essential for this positionDuties and Responsibilities: Manage, train, and motivate the team of production workers, ensuring high levels of performance and safety standards are maintained at all times.Ensure that all staff are following standard operating procedures and adhere to company policies.Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and address any personnel issues promptly.Oversee the execution of daily production schedules, ensuring that all production goals are achieved efficiently and within specified timelines.Monitor production output and identify opportunities ..... full job details .....
